The Official
RBI Baseball Championship of the Universe Tournament
(COTUT) is a nonprofit tournament that is held every other year in the
Chicago suburbs. Tengen's RBI Baseball for the
original Nintendo Entertainment System is the videogame used in the
tournament. The First RBI Baseball COTUT was
held in December 2000 with 16 players from the Chicago
metropolitan area. Due to its success and
popularity, the Second RBI Baseball COTUT
was
held in December 2002 with a record 32 players. It featured a higher level of competition, drawing participants from across the
nation. Over the past 12 years, the COTUT has attracted dozens of players
from a total of 18 states. The COTUT will celebrate 15 years of competitive RBI Baseball with the Seventh RBI Baseball COTUT in July 2015. This challenging tournament tests not only the skill of its players, but their physical and mental toughness as well. We welcome any hardcore players willing to join us to prove their RBI skill. |
